01 — Introduction

From website to platform — without rebuilding twice.

TheDustClub is moving from a static brand site to an operating platform: bookings, memberships, media delivery, and discovery built around the desert experience. This proposal stages that move into three independent phases so revenue and operations are unblocked early, then expanded with confidence.

1
Ship a real platform in Phase 1

Bilingual marketing site live, plus the admin panel and customer portal handling every reservation end-to-end. The team runs the business from the dashboard from Month 3.

2
Turn the platform into a revenue engine in Phase 2

Paid memberships with annual credits, premium add-ons for photography, and a scalable cloud-storage backend ready for the volume that comes with paid members.

3
Make the experience discoverable in Phase 3

Map-driven route exploration, modular adventure builder, and a loyalty program that rewards repeat guests and unlocks new content over time.

02 — Why The Mok Company

Why phase it.

Three reasons we stage the build instead of trying to deliver everything in one drop.

01

Revenue first

Phase 1 makes booking real. The marketing site converts, the dashboard runs operations, and payments flow. Everything after that builds on real traffic and real data.

02

Architecture compounds

Each phase is built on the foundation of the last. Memberships extend the booking engine. Routes extend the experience catalog. Loyalty extends the customer portal. Nothing is rewritten.

03

Off-ramps every quarter

You can stop after any phase. Each one is a complete, owned, production-grade system. No ongoing dependency on us to keep operating.

03 — Scope of Work

What ships in each phase.

Phase 1 unlocks operations and revenue. Phase 2 turns the platform into a paid-membership business. Phase 3 builds the discovery and loyalty layer that drives repeat visits.

P1

Foundation · Months 1–3

Bilingual marketing site (EN/AR + RTL), admin control panel, customer portal, full bookings & calendar, experience catalog with seasonal pricing, Paymob payments, automated email + media delivery, role-based access, revenue and bookings analytics. The team operates the business from this platform from end of Month 3.

Deliverable · Live platform
P2

Revenue Engine · Months 3–6

Paid membership tiers with annual credits and priority booking, premium photography add-on with its own delivery flow, cloud-storage migration to AWS S3 or Backblaze B2 with CDN-backed delivery and cost monitoring. Foundational infrastructure ready before media volume scales.

Deliverable · Membership live + scalable media
P3

Discovery & Loyalty · Months 6–9

Interactive desert map with point-to-point routes, modular adventure builder with mission formats and dynamic pricing, points-and-milestones loyalty program with portal dashboard and bonus points for reviews and referrals.

Deliverable · Discovery layer + loyalty
04 — Our Approach

How we run it.

Tight cycles. Every Friday ends with something live on staging that you can review before code merges to production.

Discovery per phase

Each phase opens with a one-week discovery sprint: stakeholder interviews, technical audit of the previous phase, and a written alignment doc that locks scope before any code is written.

Design before build

UI direction, page-by-page design across desktop and mobile, clickable prototype on Figma. You see the work feel real before development starts.

Weekly delivery

Continuous deploys to a staging environment. Every Friday: a working URL, a written changelog, a 30-minute review call.

Phase handover

Each phase ends with documentation, a training session for your team, and a clean handover. You can take operations in-house at the end of any phase.

05 — Project Timeline

Three phases.
Six to nine months.

Indicative weeks per phase. Phase 2 starts after Phase 1 sign-off. Phase 3 is optional and can be deferred or scoped down without affecting Phases 1 and 2.
